Honey in Texas
From the adopter of Honey "She's doing great. She's steadily putting on weight and is starting to look much more like the beautiful draft horse she is. She's super friendly and Andrew and I love her; she's like our big puppy. She waits by the fence for when we get home from work and gives us a little whinny as a welcome. Honey's got her own little webpage blurb on our site (http://www.almareyan.net/wiki/Honey) if you'd like to keep tabs on her or put up a link on the adopted page so others who are interested in PMU mares can see what my experiences are like. Thanks so much for getting Honey to us; she's quickly become our favorite child.

Jack in Canada

Apollo (formerly Jack)

Apollo (formerly Jack)

From the adopter of Jack, now known as Apollo:

"He is a wonderful horse.  We are currently riding 3rd level dressage and jumping 3’’6”.  I also use him for lessons; he is so easygoing that I put beginners on him.  I’ve had many offers for people to buy him, but he’s never going anywhere."

From the adopter of BL 9 "Tank (my foal) is doing well and he was a barn favorite when he was with me at college. He's about 14.2 hands right now and is still growing. He's very laid back and he doesn't spook easily (unlike his pasture mate). Tank is back in Texas and is shedding out his baby coat. Right now it's a toss up between seal brown, bright bay, and buckskin (go figure). Regardless of his color identity crisis, he is fat, happy, and well adjusted. I just wanted to say thank you for all that you have done"

                                               Sired by Salt

From the adopter of #SA6 Friar aka Dutch:  I was just thanking you for doing what you do.  If you didn't do this, I would not have my dream!  He is almost broke for Western; he will be in the rodeo.  I am planning to team rope with him.  He is spoiled!!!!!  He is a success story and has found his forever home right here in my heart!  Thank you again for all you do!  Sept.2008

#BL5 in Canada                          #BL5 "Twist" in Texas            #BL5 "Twist" at horse show

From the adopter of #BL5:  Since he was a rescue horse, I wanted to somehow incorporate that into his name, so I decided on Taylor's Twist of Fate (Twist for short).  He is the sweetest and most docile horse I have ever known.  It took less than a month to fully break him with both English and Western tack.  He has been to two small shows and placed first and second each time.  He is very intelligent and a quick learner!  He is a beautiful blue roan about 16 hands tall and still growing/1  Everyone at the barn just adores him; and, needless to say, Twist is very spoiled!  Thank you for all that you do!  January 2009
